This is our family's first ever drrss up for Halloween and it is indeed a big struggle for us. Firstly this is not really our piece of cake and secondly, we discovered little jnr3yo isnt really into dress ups. I know my girls at this age would have reveled at the idea to dress up as princesses but we tried....
And we have little "Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates" lookalike. All homemade, home grown except for duct tape.
After about 6 years in Singapore. We have packed up our memories and entered a not so booming yet exciting new country. Until we get our driver's license, we will not be New Yorkers but alas, this place can grow on you. All 5 of us, an unlikely yet loving couple, a 6th grader encyclopedia, a 4th grader who knows it all and a dare devil toddler. This is our life, our journal, our journey.

Happy 11th Mathena
Words are not enough to describe you. Nothing phases you and you are truly a gift to us. You have put up and forgiven many of my bad mothering moments and you STILL love me.
You are the reason I turn to God for thanksgiving and grace.
Carson in 'Little School'
Here's the news! He's 3 and now in a 3yo preschool program for 3 days and 3hrs per day.
I was thrilled when I found out that there's a little school near us that teaches about God and about things of God. So after months of waiting....Our little man is taking the NEXT BIG step in his little life (where has time flown?).
Autumn 2014
It looks like its been a few years since I last posted. I have been in and out and often reminded to come back.... This changing season and season of thanksgiving is a great reason to get back on the blogging train.
We've just celebrated Mathena's 11th birthday and as usual, memories flood in and brings a lump into my throat. Mathena was born in the beautiful city of Wollongong. Since then, we've moved to our 3rd country. We have so much to be thankful for. Mathena is one of them.
