Singapore Chapter 3

To all my Aussie friends, this will look alien to you. It's a veg! Cooked with anchovies and garlic, it's the simplest of all pleasures. Thought I'd blog it as it is something most people outside of South East Asia will not see.

I found this treasure in the wet markets (very common here) but it's been years since I've had some of these. Had to ring my mom who's holidaying in Cairns to jog my memory on how to best stir fry it. Tasted great and the entire family loves it. Wonder what nutritious values it has?

I used to eat them raw with chili fish or sambal. If you want savoury can stirfry with sambal too.
