We have a cause to celebrate! Letitia lost her first tooth (front bottom left) at the Doctors surgery on Tuesday the 8th. The incident was well anticipated and we were relieved yet happy. Letitia could not wait to tell Mathena that "You turn will come when you eventually grow up and loose your teeth!"

After tooth No 1 dropped!

Now Number 2 (front bottom right) came loose and was dangling over dinner last night. Letitia wept a bit with excitement and a bit of anxiety as daddy had to assist gently to pop it.

Be off with tooth no 2

We do not do the tooth fairy thing, I just told her that she'll get a coin when each tooth falls and we'll pop it into a money box. And when we are all finished with 20 of them, she can go visit a shop to buy something that we will keep for ages to remember her baby teeth and her childhood by. Her two little kennels are sealed in a clear packing tape, labeled and tagged for easy recognition (and doesn't get lost) in a nice jewelry box.
