Okay! There's cause for celebration. This week is a short one. We have only to survive 4 more days of school and then, it's the Easter break! Yippee! I am sorry but I am actually happy to bits as I get to have ALL my girls at home with me and NOT drive around like a chauffeur.
We've had a HUGE week with Letitia's nose doing a mysterious daily bleeding. Little bleeding was fine as we get it once a month when the air is dry but when it happens 6 times in 4 days and it's the gushing-out-kind, we justified a trip to see Dr Jover (our family doctor). Mathena also had a bought of fever over 2 days and we too thought we'd check it out. After 1hr in the waiting room with millions of "when is it our turn?", Dr Jover prescripted some nasal ointment to help Letitia's scar in her nose heal. Mathena was found to be fighting a virus that has attacked her poor tonsils again. The Dr showed me a enflamed red throat in Mathena....I am getting the impression that the "virus" love attacking that part of her. So, no fish and chips, no KFC and no chippies for a while!
We have been thinking and considering moving to a home closer to Letitia's school. There's many plans on the stove for our family and cutting back on the commute is one of them. Alex's work still takes him 1hr 45mins on the train and he's on the lookout for something closer. If we move, it'll be out in the renting arena as we cannot really "buy" just yet. Food for thought.
So this week, we'll be visiting rental properties to see if it's worthwhile moving! Will keep posted!
After about 6 years in Singapore. We have packed up our memories and entered a not so booming yet exciting new country. Until we get our driver's license, we will not be New Yorkers but alas, this place can grow on you. All 5 of us, an unlikely yet loving couple, a 6th grader encyclopedia, a 4th grader who knows it all and a dare devil toddler. This is our life, our journal, our journey.
